Tässä hankinnassa kohteena on palvelu Metsähovin geodeettisen tutkimusaseman satelliittilaserjärjestelmän teleskooppialikomponentin toimituksen loppuun saattamiseksi. Hankintaan sisältyy myös yksittäisiä, räätälöityjä, sekä kaupallisesti saatavilla olevia komponentteja teleskooppi-, sekä muiden alijärjestelmien korkeiden teknisten suorituskykyvaatimuksien täyttämiseksi. Hankittava palvelu hankitaan tutkimusta, kokeilua, ja tieteellistä tarkoitusta varten. Palvelun tulee vastata Maanmittauslaitoksen Paikkatietokeskuksen tutkimuksen tarpeisiin, sekä Maanmittauslaitoksen Tuotannon operatiivisiin tarpeisiin Metsähovin geodeettisella tutkimusasemalla.
