Description
The contract work comprises a turnkey contract for engineering design services, construction of, and guarantee responsibility for the new national road 13 (National road 13), including a new foot and cycle path and avalanche protection, between Djupevik and the Kvitur tunnel in Ullensvang municipality. The project comprises a stretch of approx. 1,200 m and comprises the construction of a new 7.5 m wide road partly in the existing road route as well as a new foot and cycle path, also partly in the existing road route. In addition avalanche proof shall be included with the construction of 2 new bridges, each of approx. 20 m, new avalanche gutters and new avalanche protection fences. The project also includes a considerable amount of new natural stone walls. There shall be traffic on National Road 13 during the entire construction period, and challenges must be expected with construction work in and close to busy areas. There is a complete zoning plan for the area as well as a newer digital model of the project with further details on road lines and systems.
