Description
As a research and development service, the contract is excluded from the scope of public procurement law (cf. § 116(1)(2) GWB). Rustls is an open source library that implements the TLS protocol and provides support for QUIC protocol implementations. Internet Security Research Group (ISRG)’s Prossimo project has invested in developing Rustls over the last three years and today it’s highly performant and memory safe. This project in 2025 will move Rustls adoption forward by lowering the effort required to switch from other TLS implementations, along with continuing to improve Rustls so its performance and functionality can be even stronger selling points.
