Description
The objective of this call for tenders is to contract RPAS VTOL Services for emissions monitoring in the civil maritime domain in support of EU Member States and EFTA Countries as well as European institutions and bodies (the “users”) to support enforcement of the “sulphur directive”, specifically to calculate the sulphur content in the fuel used by ships to target possible non-compliant ships for further inspection in the next port of call. Additionally, the contracted RPAS services shall be capable, when requested, to support the users in the fields of multipurpose maritime surveillance and further improve an integrated and real time maritime operational awareness picture.
