Description
De Gemeente zet de ontwikkeling van blok 1 Rijnhaven, gelegen in het deelgebied Feijenoord, via een Europese concurrentiegericht dialoog in de markt. De Gemeente wil een marktpartij of combinatie van marktpartijen contracteren die de grond in bouwrijpe staat van de Gemeente tegen marktconforme voorwaarden koopt en vervolgens voor eigen rekening en risico haar plan tot ontwikkeling en realisatie brengt. De Rijnhaven ligt in het hart van Rotterdam en wordt omringd door zich in gestaag tempo ontwikkelende gebieden als de Wilhelminapier, Afrikaanderwijk en Katendrecht-Pols. De stad Rotterdam - en met name de binnenstad - groeit door. Met die voorziene groei is het tijd voor de volgende stap op de Kop van Zuid: de ontwikkeling van de Rijnhaven. Hier hebben we de kans om substantieel te verdichten en te vergroenen tegelijk, met maximaal 3000 nieuwe woningen gecombineerd met een bijpassend niet-woonprogramma en een nieuw aan te leggen stadspark.
