Description

As part of the RescEU project, the National Emergency Supply Agency (hereinafter "NESA") is preparing the procurement of thyroid monitors (one type of monitor) used to measure contaminated persons in the target area after a nuclear/radiation accident by detecting the radioactive iodine accumulated in the thyroid gland. Estimated amount: 50 instruments. The main instrument specifications include: Preliminary device functions and requirements - Measured nuclide I-131 - Non-invasive measurement from outside the body - Works for measuring all age groups. - Can be moved by human power.
