Description
This EU prior information notice is not a procurement notice or an invitation to tender, but rather a market survey and a request for information (hereinafter "RFI"). The publication of the prior information notice does not initiate a bidding competition. A procurement notice and an invitation to tender may be published later. The publication of the RFI does not obligate the contracting entity to carry out the actual procurement. Responding to the RFI is not a requirement for participation in any potential future bidding competition. As part of the RescEU project, the National Emergency Supply Agency (hereinafter "NESA") is preparing the procurement of instruments for chemical detection and identification (solids, liquids, gases) in CBRN situations in the field. NESA has previously published similar RFI including portable gas chromatograph mass spectrometer (GC-MS). In this request for information NESA is gathering information about the available mass spectrometer instruments (without gas chromatography) on the market.
