Description
During 2023, GRID-Arendal the Waste and Marine litter program has been expanding its expertise and work connected to resource recovery and reuse from wastewater, sustainable nutrient management, nutrient management in relation to the triple planetary boundaries and the new coming Green Ammonia energy carrier. We are continuing the work into 2024 and will link the work firmly to existing international agreement supporting reaching goals from these agreements. We will develop proposals to start realizing resource recovery from waste streams starting with the policy area. Followed by on the ground capacity building and understanding the potential for solving climate change, energy needs and food security etc. through resource recovery and sustainable nutrient management.
