Description

The aim of this RFI is to gather information from external parties with experience and expertise in risk management (currency, commodity, interes rate, inflation) advisory services, particularly in the area of hedging for Long Lead Items (LLI) contracts and critical raw materials. The collected information will be used to assess potential partners and to prepare a possible Request for Proposal (RFP) for the selection of a licensed investment advisor to support the Company's commodity risk management policy. PEJ is currently seeking advice on securing risks that may arise in the process of financing and constructing a nuclear power plant. The selected advisor will work with the contracting authority to analyse and quantify risks, plan mitigation methods, develop hedging policies and strategies, and implement them. The scope of the report includes all risks related to the project, such as currency/foreign exchange, interest rate, commodity, and inflation risks. The cooperation should include risk analysis and hedge design in the preparatory phase, as well as assistance in EPC negotiations and LLI procurement processes.
