Description

1. IntroductionWe encourage market participants with expertise in gas cooler cleaning to express their interest and if relevant outline the conditions required to enter the market and establish operations in Denmark.The demand for gas cooler cleaning is expected to increase in the coming years as compressors continue to age and the share of biogas in the gas grid is expected to grow. The share of biogas is projected to meet the entirety of Danish gas consumption by 2030, up from 38% in 2023.The compressors are placed at different biogas plant sites around Jutland, Funen, Zealand, and islands connected to the mainland by bridge. At most sites, two or more compressors are installed to make failover possible and to mitigate the immediate impact in case of unplanned stops and/or breakdowns. The compressors are used for controlling the pressure when channeling biomethane gas between the low-pressure network of 4 or 7 bar(g) to the high-pressure gas network of 19 to 80 bar(g).The expected need for the gas cooler cleaning service is:The Buyer will order cleanings when the Buyers internal report indicates that the cooler needs cleaning.The Supplier shall clean the gas coolers.The gas coole…
