With this request for information, HUS launches a market consultation to prepare a procurement. The aim of this prior information notice is to find suppliers operating in this field of business, get information of the solutions available in the market, and inform our plans and requirements for the forthcoming procurement. SUBJECT OF PROCUREMENT The subject of procurement is blood storage solutions suitable for transportation and out-of-hospital use. We are seeking information and brochures regarding blood storage solutions. We require systems that can maintain blood products at a temperature of 2–6 °C during transport and while the storage solution is in use. The solution should be able to hold multiple units of blood. The technical implementation and cooling system of the storage solution can be of any type, and the solution should be capable of functioning during transport and use across a wide range of ambient temperatures. The storage solution shall be designed to withstand variable environmental conditions and repeated cycles of accessing blood products without compromising its structural integrity or functionality.
