This is a Request for Information for an Active hydrogen maser atomic clock / frequency standard suitable for Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) radio astronomical receivers as their local oscillator frequency reference. (Abbreviated "H-maser system" later in this document.) The purpose of this notice is to identify and establish contact with suppliers of such a H-maser system for further discussion, as part of a market survey prior to possible execution of the procurement.
