Description
The Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) is planning a possible future tender in connection with the rental of an electric fire engine for one year, with the rental period starting in June or July 2025. In connection with the rental, DALO would initially like to enter into a dialogue with the market, in order for DALO can obtain information about the possibilities and restrictions on the market. The purpose of this RFI is to identify whether there are any suppliers interested in, and capable of, providing DALO with the electric fire engine in question. The purpose of the rental is to clarify the opportunities and limitations associated with the use of electric-based solutions within the Danish emergency services, as part of a broader transition towards more sustainable and "future-proof" emergency vehicles. The electric-powered firefighting engine will primarily be used by the Danish Emergency Management Agency (“DEMA”) for training and exercise purposes, as well as for the development and testing of tactics, methods, and operational procedures adapted to electrified vehicles.
