Description

Within SDC, the Section Economy and Education (E+E) is an interdisciplinary team whose main mission is to help SDC identify, design and realize inclusive economic development (IED) opportunities for disadvantaged groups, particularly in low income and fragile contexts by: - Advising and co-creating projects or programmes in the field of IED with other SDC units to develop, test and disseminate innovative approaches, modalities and programs across the institution; - Managing the E+E network that reinforce knowledge management and peer-learning, and by building SDC capacities at headquarters and in the field; - Managing or participating in strategic partnerships with other departments of SDC and offices of the Swiss Federal Administration, other development partners, the private sector, civil society, and knowledge platforms at national, regional and global levels. The thematic focus of this tender is on Private Sector Development (PSD) and Vocational Skills Development (VSD) as well as on the modality on Private Sector Engagement (PSE).
