Description
Aim of procurement is the successful purchase of a hosted IOD-Mission (In-Orbit-Demonstration), as a hosted payload service, including launch and launch services with a well-established launcher system, as well as mission operation with a well-established host spacecraft/OTV, both featuring flight heritage and a successful mission history. The underlying goal is to gain flight heritage of the SpaceMast system and the demonstration of featured functionalities in real space environment. The host spacecraft/OTV shall be able to change orbits and altitudes, provide power, data up and down-link, and control in terms of activating the Camera SpaceMast system, as an OTV (orbital transfer vehicle) would do. Payload Description: The payload “Camera SpaceMast System” shall be flown in a hosted configuration and can be considered roughly as a block volume with rectangular dimensions. The system consists of five major components: 1.
