Description
Waterschap Vechtstromen (hierna: het waterschap) staat de komende jaren voor een forse vervangings- en renovatie opgave in de rioolwaterzuiveringen. Belangrijk onderdeel van deze opgave zijn investeringen in de elektro- en procesautomatisering. Deze automatisering is onmisbaar voor de besturing, bewaking en informatievoorziening van het zuiveringsproces. De procesautomatisering (PA) is de afgelopen jaren getransformeerd van beheer op overzichtelijke elektrotechniek naar complexere en integrale ICT-technieken. Ook aan de ICT-beveiliging worden hogere eisen gesteld. Veel automatiseringssystemen op de rioolwaterzuiveringen zijn verouderd en aan het eind van hun technische levensduur. Om klaar te zijn voor de digitale toekomst heeft het dagelijks bestuur van het waterschap besloten komende jaren de procesautomatisering van de rioolwaterzuiveringen toekomstgericht en risico-gebaseerd te vervangen. De huidige procesautomatisering op de 23 rwzi's wordt vervangen door Siemens PCSNeo. Deze vervanging wordt gedaan in eigen beheer met ondersteuning uit de markt.
