Description
The Contracting Entity has an ongoing need to enter into electrical works contracts relating to utility scale onshore wind, solar, battery energy storage system ("BESS") or similar projects in the Republic of Ireland. The Contracting Entity wishes to establish a qualification system with a pool of qualified parties (i.e. the Qualified Applicants) that can be invited to specific Competitions under the Qualification System in relation to the procurement and execution of such electrical works. The scope of works under a Contract may include (without limitation) the civil and electrical design, construction, commissioning and testing of electrical substation contestable works, associated low voltage (LV) / medium voltage (MV) / high voltage (HV) cabling, and the grid connection route to connect the Project to the transmission or distribution network in accordance with the connection agreement for the Project and to the satisfaction of the Contracting Entity and the Distribution System Operator or Transmission System Operator.
