Description
A consortium of seven partners, led by Radboud Universities Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour received a Roadmap grant from NWO. This will be used to build the world's first MRI scanner with a magnetic strength of 14 Tesla, which is suitable for research with humans. The Radboud University acts as the coordinator of the consortium and is the principal for this purchase. The proposed award concerns the conclusion of an agreement about the design, realization, and delivery of an array of 16+2 NMR RF Power Amplifiers for 1H and 19F at 14.0T for a unique 14 Tesla MR system that is suitable for research with humans.
