Description
A cryogenic room temperature bore system is a design allowing for measurements in magnetic fields (up to 18 Tesla) – all without the need for liquid cryogens. The use of proprietary technology allows the whole system to be operated from a single cryocooler. This is of interest to researchers in condensed matter physics because it allows them to investigate the structural, optical and electronic properties of materials using specific experimental setups in such a magnet ranging from optical imaging at room temperature to low-temperature electronic transport in a cryogenic environment.
