Description
The project concerns ‘KDE’ and the systematic strengthening of KDE's free and open source desktop technology stack. The services comprise several work packages covering development and technical improvements based on systematic technical analyses, including an automated and end-to-end test infrastructure, mechanisms for system recovery and factory reset, authentication improvements and centralised configuration management. The aim of these services is to close structural and security-related gaps in the already widely used desktop stack and to perform technical improvements in order to sustainably strengthen the overall security, reliability, user-friendliness and operational maintainability of the project in the public interest.
