Description

Het consortium is op zoek naar programmeerbare echosystemen met een hoge nauwkeurigheid die hoge-beeldfrequentie volumetrische echografie kunnen uitvoeren. De systemen moeten ook adequate technieken bieden voor het afbeelden van verschillende organen (bijvoorbeeld brein, hart, lever, pancreas en prostaat) in kleine proefdieren in 2D. In de periode 2026-2027 zullen twee nieuwe, identieke programmeerbare echosystemen worden aangeschaft voor de locatie Radboud Universitair Medisch Centrum en locatie Universitair Medisch Centrum Utrecht. Het gaat hierbij om twee systemen met minstens 512 actieve kanalen, wellicht samengesteld uit losse apparatuur ('subsystemen’) om te voldoen aan de uiteindelijke specificaties.
