Description
The aim of most of the assignment is to create a dataset that describes all terrestrial natural areas in the lowlands according to Nature in the Norway system with the lowest possible margin of error, in a database that gives us a full-range map. Lowland nature means all terrestrial area that is not included in the rock area. This also includes forest, developed areas and other severely changed nature. Modelling of limnic systems is not a part of the assignment. All-covering maps means a map that covers all area, without holes or overlap. The final nature chart that shall be delivered as a database with a separate option. The database shall be relevant for area statistics, nature accounts and area planning by providing more detailed information on how the different types of nature (described with Nature in Norway) are distributed over the municipalities ́ area. The data set will contribute to national basic data and in the long term can be used directly as a knowledge basis into municipal planning.
