Description
Production and delivery of STARCOS 3.7 eIDAS C2 dual interface chip modules and inlays with antenna. The smart card product „STARCOS 3.7 eIDAS C2“ is intended for the use as a card for the generation of qualified signatures or qualified seals. It is implemented as a Dual Interface Card, i.e. the card possesses a contact and a contactless interface, with an ISO 7816 conformant operating system and an application layer which directly accesses the operating system layer. The STARCOS 3.7 COS HBA-SMC operating system provides an interoperable, multifunctional platform conform to ISO 7816 which is appropriate for cards used in applications with high level security requirements. The comprehensive offer of different technical and functional properties as well as security mechanisms of the STARCOS operating system especially supports the eSign&Seal application. Further applications may exist on the „Sig & Seal Card“ besides the dedicated eSign&Seal application for the generation of qualified digital signatures.
