Description

The contracting authority shall enter into a framework agreement for software with several tenderers in order to cover the Contracting Authority ́s current and future need for licence based software. The contracting authority would like, via the Framework Agreement, to continue the work in order to achieve the best possible optimum and cost efficient licence portfolio. At the same time there is a need to have an overview of all renewals, predictability of costs as well as control on licence terms and other terms and rights when used. The contracting authority has an existing framework agreement for software with three tenderers, with the Contracting Authority ́s total licence portfolio within the agreed scope divided between the three framework agreement suppliers in accordance with the rules stated in the framework agreement. The equivalent type of mechanisms are described in SSA-R Annex 2, point 2. The licence portfolio contains licences from nearly 200 manufacturers within a broad spectrum.
