Description
A brand scheme for Sustainable destinations is a service that Innovasjon Norge delivers to Norwegian destinations, i.e. places that have an organisation around the development and profiling of their tourism industry. The marking scheme includes concrete tools and a framework aimed at tourism ́s work on increased sustainability. The tool and framework shall strengthen destination management by uniting both destination companies and municipalities, voluntary organisations and other interested parties in a joint development process. Specific targets are formulated through the process, different measures are implemented, measurements and analyses are carried out and collected in a documented response. The response will form the basis for reviewing an independent inspection. It is this control function Innovation Norway is now seeking suppliers for.
