Description

The contracting authority ́s planned carbon capture project at the incineration plant in Rådalen shall have previously carried out feasibility studies on maturing to FEED level. A general requirement is that the cost estimate for a complete carbon capture facility (including integration) as described holds AACE 18R-97 class 2 level, with some elements of class 3, or equivalent recognised standards. The carbon capture facility shall be modular and as a minimum able to capture 100,000 co2 per annum from the current flue gas, up to 150,000t CO2 per annum. CO2 ́s subsequent catch, to be cleaned to follow the given requirement specifications given for transport and permanent storage of the participants who are most relevant for storing CO2 permanently. Technology that shall be used for CO2 catch shall be liquid absorption with amine as the chosen sorbent, and the technology should be ripe for use in flue gas after waste incineration.
