Description
The contracting authority shall enter into a framework agreement for architect services (ARK). The objective of the framework agreement is to ensure that the Contracting Authority, throughout the contract period, has access to assistance from good architects and accompanying consultancy services with relevant competence to cover the Contracting Authority's ongoing need for services within architect services and accompanying consultancy services. As a starting point, the framework agreement shall be used for all types of projects that are relevant for the service areas covered by the framework agreement. The framework agreement shall cover small, medium sized and larger maintenance projects in all project phases and it can also be used for alterations and new buildings in all project phases. The Contracting Authority can engage architects outside the framework agreement for larger projects, particularly complex projects, for contracting forms where the use of the framework agreement is inappropriate, or where other conditions mean that the project owner desects it appropriate.
