Het projectdoel van het project Prinses Alexiaviaduct is het realiseren van een ongelijkvloerse kruising tussen de Maasvlakteweg en de Mekongweg en aansluiting op de bestaande Maximaweg, teneinde een veilige en soepele afwikkeling van verkeer van en naar het gebied Alexiahaven te waarborgen.
