Description

Re-development of software that will be used to support setting boundaries and target operating parameters for the Porthos operations from both a long-term and short-term perspective. The name chosen for the software is Overall Porthos Model (OPM). The software will be used in both an on-line and off-line environment, always with human intervention to provide its functionality. The difference between on-line and off-line usage is in the interfaces to other systems and the functions being used. The development approach is to have a generic software environment that can be used to create a solution for a specific project based on modelling the physical environment and providing project-specific properties and capabilities. The scope also includes lifecycle services for keeping the software operational for a period of at least 17 years.
