Description
The Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) is planning the procurement of a portable photosynthesis system for research purposes to be used in field conditions, in Jokioinen Finland. With this market survey / prior information notice Luke surveys the market and potential suppliers for the supply of portable photosynthesis systems in order to carry out the possible future competitive tendering process in an appropriate manner. The prospective equipment to be purchased is intended to be used for measuring of photosynthesis in field and greenhouse crops. Because of the usage in field conditions, the device must have a long battery life. For research purposes the accuracy of measurements is essential. Spare parts and maintenance must be available for the device. The device also must include a possibility to save and tranfer data to cloud services. The device must be suitable for measuring plants with different types and sizes of leafs (and needles).
