De aanbestedende dienst is voornemens een aanbesteding te starten voor de vervanging van de huidige Pontveer 't Schouw. Ter voorbereiding organiseert de aanbestedende dienst een marktconsultatie. Doel van deze marktconsultatie is om marktpartijen vroegtijdig te betrekken, de haalbaarheid van de voorgenomen uitgangspunten te toetsen en inzicht te verkrijgen in mogelijkheden, innovaties en risico’s. De nieuwe veerpont dient qua beschikbaarheid, toegankelijkheid en capaciteit minimaal gelijkwaardig te zijn aan de huidige pont. Het streven is dat de nieuwe pont aansluit op de bestaande landhoofden aan beide kades, zodat slechts beperkte aanpassingen aan oevers en walinstallaties nodig zijn. 0
