De aanbesteding treft het grootschalig internationaal vergelijkend onderzoek PISA 2029 dat de kennis en vaardigheden van 15-jarige leerlingen meet op het gebied van leesvaardigheid, wiskunde en natuurwetenschappen. Doel van het onderzoek is na te gaan in hoeverre jongeren de vereiste kennis en vaardigheden hebben om de uitdagingen van de maatschappij te kunnen aangaan.
