Description
Es handelt sich um ein Point Ahead Angle Mechanism (PAAM) als Teil einer optischen Bank für eine Satellitenmission im Rahmen des Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) Projekts. Ein engineering model (EM1) dazu ist bereits vorhanden. Das PAAM ist Teil eines Subsystems, das mit den anderen Bestandteilen präzise kommunizieren muss. Diese Kommunikation geschieht in Form von elektronischen Ansteuerungen, die über das Engineering Model 1 von den Niederlanden finanziert und entwickelt werden.
