Description
As from 2024, an HVDC EPC Contractor will be responsible for the design and the execution of both onshore and offshore HVDC converter stations of the Princess Elisabeth Island (PEI). More info about the PEI Project can be found here : https://www.elia.be/en/infrastructure-and-projects/infrastructure-projects/princess-elisabeth-island For the Onshore Converter Station, Elia is looking for an Owner's Engineer that will help ensure that the CW design and the CW execution are compliant with the Employer Requirements, Permits conditions, applicable Laws, Standards and Good Industry practices. - During Design : Elia requires to have a pool of experts (structural, geotechnical, architectural, …) available to review the EPC Contractor’s CW design. - During Execution : Elia requires to have 1 or more site supervisors CW on site to ensure that the CW execution is of proper quality and in compliance with the design. On top of the PEI - project, this contract might be used for other relevant projects within Elia.
