Hankinnan kohteena on Kelan Oracle –teknisen tukipalvelun jatkaminen sisältäen ohjelmistojen uudet versiot ja päivitykset. Kelaan on hankittu Oracle –tietokantalisenssejä, jotka on sertifioitu Kelan käyttöön. Hankittava tukisopimus koskee Kelan omistamia Oracle –tietokantalisenssejä. Kela hyödyntää Oraclen teknologiaa palveluissaan. Kelan tietokantaympäristön toiminnan parantaminen vaatii ohjelmistolisenssien määrän kasvattamista.
