PROCURE4HEALTH aims to challenge the market to develop innovation solutions that can operate as an alternative to singleuse facemasks, providing the same level of protection as disposable masks while significantly reducing the environmental footprint. PCP is an approach that allows public procurers to buy R&D from several competing suppliers in parallel, to compare alternative solution approaches, and to identify the best valueformoney solutions that the market can deliver to address their needs. It is split into three phases: solution design, prototype implementation, and validation and demonstration of the solutions.
