Description
In scope for this tender are all construction and maintenance performed onshore by or on behalf of TenneT in both the Netherlands and Germany. For further scope details, see underwriting information. Excluded are Offshore Construction projects where a separate CAR insurance is taken out and Large onshore contstruction projects in Germany which are performed in a JV where also a separate CAR policy is taken out (SudLink & SudOst link). For this tender and insurances there might be future consequences as the German part of TenneT potentially will be sold ot he German government. TenneT decided to not work with two separate contracts but only a contract for TenneT Holding B.V. In case the German activities will be sold, ‘TenneT Germany’ decides on its own to continue or to tender a new contract after the first contract period. See also the appendix ‘contractual clauses (possible) split’ attached to the agreement as mentioned at question 1.2.2 in Mercell.
