Het azM, tevens handelend onder de naam Maastricht UMC+, is voornemens om het werk van nieuwbouwproject Entreegebouw aan te besteden. De aanbesteding geschiedt volgens de concurrentiegerichte dialoog (de concurrentiegerichte dialoog is een aanbestedingsprocedure met twee fases, bestaande uit een selectiefase en een gunningsfase (dialoog + inschrijving), waarop iedere ondernemer zich mag aanmelden) conform de Europese richtlijn voor overheidsopdrachten 2014/24/EU en de daaruit voortvloeiende "Aanbestedingswet 2012" van 1 juli 2016 en Aanbestedingsreglement Werken 2016.
