Description
Hankinnan kohteena on Next Generation Firewall -järjestelmä Aalto-yliopistolle. Hankinnan kohde on kuvattu tarkemmin Liitteessä A. Kilpailutuksen voittajan kanssa tehdään 8 vuoden puitesopimus. Kesto ylittää 7 vuotta johtuen hankittavien laitteiden pitkästä elinkaaresta. Seitsemää vuotta lyhyempi järjestely ei mahdollista keskenään yhteensopivan NGFW-järjestelmän ylläpitämistä. Keskenään yhteensopiva NGFW-järjestelmä on kriittinen edellytys Aallon NGFW-järjestelmän toimintavarmuudelle ja jatkuvuudelle, jotta tekninen henkilöstö pystyy huoltamaan/ylläpitämään laitteistoja myös itse. Sopimuksen ennakoitu arvo on 4 miljoonaa euroa ja maksimiarvo 6 miljoonaa euroa.
