Description
Giske municipality invites tenderers to an open tender contest for the construction of a new Vigra Skule that shall replace the current school. The existing school shall be demolished and replaced by a new school building on the same site. The school was built in 1957, but was expanded in 1964, in 1967 and in 1991. The project includes: Reconstruction of existing school buildings (parts 1 and 2). Part 1. Clearing of all the buildings in the 1957 building. Part 2. Clearance of the 1957 building. The 1957 building shall be re-used for administration and classrooms heilt until pupils and additions have been moved over to the new school building. Construction of a new school building, approx. 3,270 m2 gross new building. Development of outside area with parking areas and access roads (parts 1 and 2). Before the turnkey contractor can start redeveloping the existing school buildings, a new temporary barracks shall be newly established for the educational building during the construction period.
