Description
Die Kreisstadt Mühldorf am Inn (Stadt) hat nach den positiven Erfahrungen eines Vorlaufbetriebs entschieden, den Stadtbusverkehr in Form eines On-Demand-Verkehrs als Regelbetrieb zu organisieren. Ab dem 01.05.2025 soll ein Linienbedarfsverkehr montags bis freitags (außer Feiertag) mindestens vierzehn Stunden am Tag für die ca. 22.000 Einwohner im Betriebsgebiet (Stadtgebiet Mühldorf am Inn) verfügbar sein, am Samstag für mindestens zehn Stunden. Das im Rahmen des Probebetriebs eingeführte integrierte und innovative On-Demand-Angebot, welches eine flächendeckende Anbindung auch kleinster Siedlungseinheiten ermöglicht und die Zubringerfunktion zum Regionalverkehr (insbesondere Schiene aber auch Regionalbus) stärkt, wird damit durch einen ausgeschriebenen Vertrag fortgesetzt.
