The benefits of simplicity relates also to hardware in MSHIP. Therefore hardware technology manufacturers, vendors or providers should make an important contribution to avoid technical complexity right from the beginning at the infrastructure layer, and enable a high degree of technical automation to operate the hardware at lower costs. Details We are looking for future-proof hardware and hardware concepts (OT/IT environment) with a sustainable and long term approach to protect our investments. We would like to familiarize ourselves with innovative solutions for active components: Compute Hardware, Networking Hardware as well as matching passive components: Racks - all with simplicity as part of the product design considerations. Next to that, please consider - that the Hardware would be part of the TransnetBW infrastructure (which as part of the critical infrastructure in Germany), with regards to security, robustness and operational simplicity. - a supply chain resilience, e.g. as much as necessary, as little as possible use of proprietary technologies and concepts (e.g. to avoid limited sourcing capabilities) as well as independence from sole manufacturing locations / supply co…
