Description
The Government of Poland is implementing the Odra-Vistula Flood Management Project. The Odra-Vistula Flood Management Project is implemented under Loan Agreement No. 8524-PL concluded between the Republic of Poland and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank). The Project is also co-financed by a loan from the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB), funds from the European Union and the state budget. The main purpose of the Project is: 1. to protect the Lower and Middle Oder River from flooding; 2. protection against flooding of the Klodzko Basin; 3. protection against flooding of the Upper Vistula River; 4. modernization and expansion of the monitoring and warning system. The subject of the contract is the supply of a radiometer with a control unit, used as a national standard pyrheliometer for international comparisons. Employer requires personnel training and technical support.
