Ξάνθης, στα πλαίσια των αρμοδιοτήτων της και για την ασφάλεια των πολιτών, προτίθεται να προβεί σε παροχή υπηρεσίας με μίσθωση μηχανημάτων έργου, οχημάτων και φορτηγών με το χειριστή ή τον οδηγό τους για : • κοπή ξυλωδών φυτών, κοπή θάμνων, κλάδων δέντρων και δένδρων, βοτανίσματα φυτών σε διαχωριστικές νησίδες, καθαρισμός ερεισμάτων, πρανών και ορυγμάτων. • αποχιονισμό και ρίψη άλατος για αντιμετώπιση παγετού, • καθαρισμό ερεισμάτων, • καθαρισμό τάφρων επενδυμένων ή μη, • καθαρισμό τεχνικών, • αντιμετώπιση διάβρωσης πρανών, • άρση καταπτώσεων
