Description
De Aanbestedende Dienst is voornemens om een Overeenkomst aan te gaan voor de levering van Micronaut-platen, inclusief bijbehorende dienstverlening. De levering betreft circa 80-90 boxen van 100 platen op jaarbasis. Aan deze opgave kunnen geen rechten worden ontleend. In 2014 heeft het VMDC een nieuwe methode voor gevoeligheidsbepalingen van bacteriën geïntroduceerd. Voor die tijd maakte het VMDC gebruik van de disk diffusie methode. Om kwaliteit te kunnen blijven garanderen is in 2014 besloten om over te gaan naar de door het European Committee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (EUCAST) geadviseerde referentiemethode, waarbij de minimale inhibitoire concentratie (MIC) bepaald wordt. Er bestaan verschillende commerciële systemen voor de MIC-methode voor gevoeligheidsbepalingen van bacteriën. De commerciële systemen zijn primair voor de humane microbiologie ontwikkeld en gevalideerd. Voor het VMDC is het Micronaut-systeem van Merlin-Diagnostika GmbH op dit moment het enige systeem dat geschikt is.
