Instrumentet krävs för att RÖ ska kunna utföra analysen Fetal RhD-typning enligt IVDR. För detta krävs Devysers RHD-kit, kitet är validerat att endast användas på QIAsymphony för att extrahera cirkulerande cellfritt DNA från maternell plasma med Qiagen DSP Virus/Pathogen Midi kit till EMTR platta.
