Description
DJI is responsible for the daily care of prisoners, which also includes decent sleeping facilities in the cell. For this reason, DJI wants to develop a suitable standard mattress for the cell. These mattresses aim to improve current issues regarding fire resistance, sustainability and comfort. It is the intention of the DJI that future mattresses should: • offer the highest possible fire safety; • offer the highest possible resistance to vandalism; • conform to the highest possible hygiene standards; • offer good sleeping comfort; • be as durable as possible; • conform to the sustainability requirements of the DJI The production of mattresses is about 2500-3500 units per year. The production takes place in the PI Sittard.
