Het werk bestaat uit de renovatie van de residentie en de bouw van de orangerie. Het minsterie van Buitenlandse Zaken heeft nog geen keuze gemaakt in het al dan niet samenvoegen van deze twee werken in één aanbesteding. Door middel van deze marktconsultatie zal hier een keuze in gemaakt worden.
