Doel van de marktconsultatie TenneT wil middels deze markconsultatie haar visie toetsen, inzicht krijgen in de huidige trends en marktontwikkelingen, en toetsen welke partijen geïnteresseerd zijn om de gehele scope of delen ervan uit te voeren. Daarnaast wil TenneT verifiëren of de markt kan voldoen aan de genoemde (beveiligings)eisen. Tevens vindt TenneT het belangrijk om de markt de gelegenheid te bieden haar kennis en ervaring te delen en eventuele onevenwichtig verdeelde risico’s inzichtelijk te maken. Op basis van deze input kan de Europese aanbesteding op een realistische wijze worden ingericht en uitvoerbaar worden gemaakt.
