Description
De afdeling Nucleaire Geneeskunde en Moleculaire Beeldvorming van het UMCG beschikt over ruime expertise in de ontwikkeling van nieuwe PET-liganden en hun toepassing in preklinisch en klinisch onderzoek. De afdeling beschikt over een cyclotron voor de productie van kortlevende PET-isotopen, gespecialiseerde radiochemische laboratoria voor tracerontwikkeling, GMP-conforme productiefaciliteiten voor gebruik bij patiënten, en geavanceerde (pre)klinische beeldvormingsapparatuur. Ter ondersteuning van onze [⁶⁸Ga]-gebaseerde radiofarmaceutische productie voor patiëntdiagnostiek hebben wij een ⁶⁸Ge/⁶⁸Ga-generator nodig voor de productie van ⁶⁸Ga-Cl als uitgangsstof voor [⁶⁸Ga]-gelabelde verbindingen. De generator zal worden geïntegreerd in GMP-gevalideerde processen en moet voldoen aan alle toepasselijke wettelijke en regelgevende vereisten. Zie tekst.
